We ran the One Pot Chili run up at Apex, just north of Blackhawk, CO after a significant snowstorm. For those who have not run one of these, everyone bring a can of chili, cheese, crackers, onions and all the chili goes into one pot, it really does taste good. Needless to say, the snow was deep and gave us an opportunity to remember how to put on those chains. Luckily the weather was warm despite the strong winds, and the Chili was gooood.....

We didn't go too far without chains	These tracks were from our first attempt without chains	The snow was wet and the chains got a good bite in it	Then the wind kicked in, at times lowering visability	We found an old mining shed with a lowboy in it which made a great table for cooking
The One Pot and of course, the Chili	Good stuff!	Time to go play some more on the way down	There was enough room in the shed for Andrews Mog
