The 9th Annual Rocky Mountain Pinzgauers Treffen was held in Leadville Colorado July 23rd-27th, 2008. Treffen Central was located once again at the Sugar Loafin' Campground. This was the third Treffen held in Leadville. The following trails were run: North & South Halfmoon Creek, Birdseye Gulch and Holy Cross. In addition to trail rides, attendees enjoyed fishing, kayaking and a Meet N Greet in town, and of course the auction Saturday night.

The pictures of the Holy Cross trailride do not do it justice, there is just no way the camera catches just how difficult this trail is. It's hard to believe that a 3.8 mile trail can take all day, but it did! We made it back to camp before dark, had NO breakdowns, NO rollovers and NO weather issues (the rain waited until we got on the highway) so the ride was a complete success.

The following pictures were contributed by Paul Buckner, The Fulton's, Mike Kinsey, The Light's, Chuck Mackey, The Marsek's, The Nims's and Scott Ruggles.
